So I'm back after months and months away from DeviantArt... And I'm back with something rather unorthodox, namely digitally manipulated photos. I have been photographing, although not as much as earlier, while I was away from here and my homepage is updated. I may upload some new photos here as well, you never know... And I'd also like to thank you all for the accumulated comments I haven't had the time to read!

So, here goes: me posing as some of my favourite Johnny Depp characters. The idea is all obsessively mine and the make up is done by me, but my girlfriend kindly held the camera and pulled the trigger as well as pointed out if I was making an inappropriate face. Afterwards, I have scanned the colour slides and photoshopped them to look more like the film in question. I have also altered my eye colour to Johnny's dark brown and prolonged my hair when necessary (I'm sure you can tell by the look of it.) Furthermore, I have removed Edward Scissorhands' eyebrows and smoothed out his clumsy make up. I have however NOT altered my facial features to look more like Johnny Depp. Any eventual likeness is purely coincidental and/or created by the magic of make up.

Please don't criticise the poor and hasty Photoshop work, as this is not what I normally do. Do criticise the crazy idea or the queer factor or my make up skills or the resemblance or my obsessive-compulsive nature or whatever...
